Internal and External Reproductive Organs

This week (May 7-11) we began the Sex and Sexuality Unit. Knowledge about, decisions around and attitude towards sex affect one’s phsysical, mental and social health. I encourage students to discuss the topics raised in class with their parents. We began with a review of the Internal Reproductive Organs¬†and we then reviewed (or for some introduced) the names and functions of the External Sex Organs. Students also read “Pressures and Influences: The ‘Voices’ We Hear” and considered the importance of these different influences in their lives and discussed the same.
