Intro to Mental Illness

The lessons on Friday and Tuesday (Feb 8 & 12) began with students self-assessing their self-reflection projects and submitting the same. Ms. Lockwood then shared the results of the body shape scale survey. Students then responded to unit Essential Questions so Ms. Lockwood could gauge the extent of knowledge and understanding with regard to mental illnesses and behavioral disorders. Students then shared the types of illnesses and disorders they are familiar with and we categorized these into groups. This was followed by a Presentation introducing some key facts and concepts relating to mental illness and behavioral disorders.
